L300 TD25 + VW 1,9 tdi, 1,8t Adapter

CNC machined swap adapter for connecting VW 1.9 TDI/1.8T engines to Mitsubishi gearboxes:

• L300 Td25 l (4D56) gearbox

Clutch:

• Single mass 240mm Valeo val835026 (or equivalents ridex, sachs, etc.)  clutch kit with a mitsubishi clutch disc fit an Audi/VW 068911024H starter, but the starter housing must be modified by machining/cutting 10 mm, as shown in the VW tips photos. Install a 10 mm thick spacer between the flywheel and the crankshaft.

• Mount the VW automatic starter ring (135 teeth) on the VW crankshaft, then install a 21 mm spacer between the crankshaft and the 228 mm VW flywheel from the single-mass Valeo clutch kit 835041 / ADV183076 or dual-mass equivalents.
Give the original starter ring down beneath the flywheel so it does not interfere with the VW starter. Use a VW/Audi 03G911023A starter, a Pajero clutch in the middle.

• You can use the 240mm dual-mass flywheel that comes with your VW engine. Note: The flywheel must have starter gear teeth on the engine block side. Tip: Sachs 2294 002 198 flywheel,  Mitsubishi clutch disc, a VW pressure plate, 10mm spacer, upgraded 068911024H starter - 10mm from the starter housing.
