Frontera 2.0i, 2.2dti, .. + VW 1.9 tdi, 1.8t Adapter

Swap adapter for connecting VW 1.9 TDI/1.8T engines to Opel Frontera gearboxes:

• Frontera 2.2dti gearbox + vw engine
• Frontera 2.2i petrol gearbox + vw engine
• Frontera 2.0i gearbox + vw engine
• Frontera 2.5tds Note: Some threaded holes in the adapter will not be used, the bolt pattern is similar.

Adapter includes all 4 alignment dowel pin holes (3D scanned with 0.02mm accuracy).

Clutch compability:

• You can use the single-mass Valeo 240mm val835026 clutch kit (or equivalent brands like Ridex, Sachs, etc., which are aftermarket conversion kits for dual-mass flywheels) can be used with a frontera clutch disc and the 068911024H Audi/VW starter.

• You can also use the 240mm dual-mass flywheel that comes with your VW engine. Note: The flywheel must have startermotor gear teeth on the engine block side. Tip: For this setup, you can use the Sachs 2294 002 198 flywheel with a frontera friction disc, a VW pressure plate and the 068911024H starter.

• Adapter is also compatible with 228 (230) mm VALEO 835041, ADV183076 single mass flywheel kit or VAl837041 dual mass flywheel kit and VW/Audi 03G911023A starter, & custom frontera clutch disc.

• The adapter is compatible with the VW/Audi 03G911023A starter and the VW/Audi 026105269L single mass flywheel, along with a frontera 240mm clutch plate, 8mm friction material thickness. The flywheel needs to be redrilled to fit the VW LT van 3082 634 022 240mm pressure plate. For extreme power applications, you can use the Sachs extreme pressure plate 883082 999707, which shares the same bolt pattern as the VW LT van pressure plate + clutch bearing spacer.This is well know upgrade in the VW tunning comunities. 

The adapter is compatible with the following engines:

The distance between your VW engine dowel pins is 306mm. 

• VE pump 1.9tdi: 1Z, AHU, AGR, AHH, ALE, ALH, AFN, AHF, ASV, AVB, AVG (These engines can be rebuilt into fully mechanical "MTDI" engines.), ETC...
• PD (pumpe duse) 1.9tdi: BSU, BRU, BXF, BXJ, ANU, ATD, AXR, BEW, BMT, AVB, AVQ, BSW, BJB, BKC, BLS, BSV, BXE, BPZ, AJM, ATJ, AUY, BVK, AWX, ASZ, AVF, BLT, ARL, BTB, BPX, BUK , ... ETC,.....
• 1.8t: BEA, AWT, ARX, ARZ, AWC, BJX ,BAM, APX, AMK, BVR, AJQ, AJL, APP, BBU, APY, AUQ, BEX, AYP, AVJ, ADR, AMB, AMU, APT, APU, ARG, ATC, ATW, AWM, AWP, 1.8i non turbo engines,,,,...ETC.....
