Adapter that allows you to bolt the Volkswagen PD 1.9 TDI/1.8T engine to your Jeep AX15 transmission bellhousing.

▶ Clutch Compatibility

Custom clutch discs can also be manufactured to order, including rigid (unsprung) 228/240mm discs for dual-mass flywheel applications. For extreme off-road use, ceramic or Kevlar friction materials are also available on request.

The 240 mm sprung clutch disc is in stock. The 228 mm sprung clutch disc can be made to order.

We can also manufacture custom clutch hubs and spline profiles to suit virtually any gearbox input shaft. 

  1. The adapter is compatible with the VW/Audi 03G911023A starter and the VW/Audi 026105269L single-mass flywheel, along with a modified Jeep friction plate with 240 mm outer diameter, 155 mm inner diameter, and 8 mm friction material thickness. The flywheel needs to be redrilled to fit the VW LT van 3082 634 022 240 mm pressure plate. For extreme power applications, you can use the Sachs extreme pressure plate 883082 999707, which shares the same bolt pattern as the VW LT van pressure plate.
  2. You can also use the 240 mm dual-mass flywheel that comes with your VW engine. The flywheel must have starter motor gear teeth on the engine block side. For this setup, you can use the Sachs 2294 002 198 flywheel with a modified Jeep friction disc, a VW pressure plate, and the 068911024H starter.
  3. The single-mass Valeo val835026 clutch kit, or equivalent brands such as Ridex and Sachs, can be used with a modified Jeep clutch disc and the 068911024H Audi/VW starter.
  4. The adapter is also compatible with the 228 mm VALEO 835041 and ADV183076 single-mass flywheel kits, or the VAl837041 dual-mass flywheel kit, together with the VW/Audi 03G911023A starter and a custom Jeep 228 mm clutch disc.
