Engine Swap Adapter that allows you to connect the Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Fiat 2.4 JTD engine to Toyota TD24 2LT Gearbox.
This adapter plate eliminates the need for expensive, custom-made single-mass flywheels when performing a JTD engine swap. Instead, it allows you to easily modify your existing flywheel. If you already have a heavy-duty performance clutch kit installed on your Toyota, this solution is a major advantage, saving you significant costs.
- Starter Motor: Retains the Toyota 2.4 2LT 2810054090 starter repositioned around the crankshaft axis on the original 2.4 JTD engine position
- Toyota Flywheel Modification: Requires redrilling and machining of the Toyota flywheel to fit the JTD crankshaft bolt pattern. Note: Professional flywheel balancing is recommended after machining.
- Installation angle: Jtd Engine-to- 2lt gearbox angle is 0 degrees.
- Additional Requirements: JTD oil separator repositioning is necessary since the starter motor is bigger and longer.
Adapter is compatible with Toyota Td24 2L-T r151f gearbox bellhousing with the starter position on the left upper side (from driver view):
- Hilux (1984 – 1997) td24 2lt
- HiAce (1983 – 1995) td24 2lt
- Land Cruiser 70 Series, Lj70 td24 2lt
- TownAce / LiteAce (1984 – 1996) td24 2lt
