Patrol Y60 RD28 gearbox, flywheel + VW 1.9 tdi, 1.8t Adapter

Engine Swap Adapter that allows you to connect the VW 1.9 TDI / 1.8T to Nissan Patrol RD28 Gearbox

• Compatibility: Connects VW 1.9 TDI and 1.8T engines to the Patrol RD28 manual transmission.

• Starter Motor: Retains the Patrol starter in the original patrol bellhousing location.

• Nissan Flywheel Modification: Requires redrilling and machining of the Patrol flywheel to fit the VW crankshaft bolt pattern. Note: Professional balancing is recommended after machining.

• Installation Details: Engine-to-gearbox angle is 0 degrees.

• Additional Requirements: Custom turbo or exhaust modifications may be necessary depending on your specific configuration. Since the starter motor remains in the original VW position on the engine side, it sits higher toward the cylinder head and manifolds.
