Swap adapter for connecting VW 1.9 TDI/1.8T engines to following nissan gearboxes:

The adapter can also be used in the Navara D22 2.5 DCI (YD25 engine). You need to bolt your YD25 DCI transfer case directly onto the TD27 96kW gearbox, and thanks to this adapter, you can bolt Vw 1,9tdi/1,8t onto the TD27 bellhousing. The TD27 gearbox is more durable than the YD25 gearbox, ideal for improved reliability and performance.

Adapter is  compatible with Nissan flywheel, for proper fitment, the flywheel from a Nissan must have a redrilled bolt pattern to match the 1.9 TDI crankshaft. Additionally, the center  hole (centrum hole) of the flywheel must be enlarged to fit the TDI engine's,  crankshaft, nissan starter comes to original nissan gearbox position, nissan  clutch plate, terrano pressure plate. 

Free tip:

  • If the flywheel diameter for the pressure plate is 290mm, use a Terrano 2 250mm clutch.
  • If the flywheel diameter for the pressure plate is 280mm, use the NSK2184 clutch from the Navara D40 for better performance.
