Swap adapter for connecting VW 1.9 TDI/1.8T engines to following nissan gearboxes:

Note: The adapter plate is designed for portal axles with the differential positioned on the left side, providing improved clearance for the engine block and oil pan. Due to this design, the adapter-to-engine mounting angle is offset 10 degrees to the left - "incorrect direction" (relative to the direction of travel).

The adapter is compatible with:

1. The 240 mm single-mass Valeo VAL835026 clutch kit (or an equivalent kit from brands such as Ridex, Sachs, etc., which are aftermarket conversion kits for dual-mass flywheels) can be used with a Nissan clutch disc and the Audi/VW 068911024H starter with a shortened bellhousing. A 10 mm thick crankshaft spacer should be installed between the crankshaft and the flywheel. To compensate for the spacer, the starter bellhousing must also be shortened by 10 mm. 

When the adapter plate is ordered together with the following spacer Spacer is available here, a mud cover is included in the package at no extra charge. The combined total thickness is 16 mm.

2. You can also use the 240mm dual-mass flywheel - Sachs 2294 002 198 flywheel with a nissan friction disc, a VW pressure plate. A 10 mm thick crankshaft spacer should be installed between the crankshaft and the flywheel. To compensate for the spacer, the starter bellhousing must also be shortened by 10 mm.

When the adapter plate is ordered together with the following spacer Spacer is available here, a mud cover is included in the package at no extra charge. The combined total thickness is 16 mm.

3. The VAL835026 flywheel kit can be bolted directly onto the crankshaft without a spacer. However, the gearbox input shaft must be shortened to prevent interference with the VW crankshaft. Adapter plate alone is 12mm thick.

The distance between the vw engine centralisation pins is 306 mm.
