Engine Swap adapter developed through high-accuracy 3D scanning, designed in CAD software and crafted by high-accurancy CNC milling. Designed for connecting VW 1.9 TDI / 1.8T engines to Touareg R5 gearboxes.
The adapter includes all four locating holes for precise alignment and centering.
The engine-to-gearbox angle is set to 20°. The gearbox remains in its original position, while the engine is tilted.
The starter position has been redesigned for improved fitment, using one of the existing R5 gearbox holes for mounting.

- 240 mm single-mass setup: Use the Valeo 835026 single-mass conversion kit (or an equivalent Ridex/Sachs kit) with a custom 26-spline clutch disc for the Mercedes OM647 2.7 CDI, our 11 mm spacer, and an Audi/VW 068911024H starter motor with a shortened housing (available soon).
- 240 mm dual-mass setup: A VW 240 mm dual-mass flywheel can also be used, provided its starter ring gear is on the engine-block side. Suggested components: Sachs 2294 002 198 flywheel, Frontera clutch disc, VW pressure plate, our 11 mm spacer, and a 068911024H starter motor with a shortened housing.
